EU court gives people right to ask Google to delete data

The EU´s top court ruled Tuesday that individuals have the right to ask Internet giant Google to delete personal data. The European Court of Justice said, “an individual has the right “to be forgotten” when such personal data “appear to be inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant, or excessive in relation to the purpose for which they were processed and in the light of the time that has elapsed.”
