ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that impacts the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. As the disease advances, it gradually weakens the muscles, which can lead to paralysis and significantly affect a person’s ability to move, speak, and breathe. At present, there is no known cure for ALS.
Eric Dane remains committed to his acting career while managing this significant health challenge, inspiring fans and colleagues.
