In Faisalabad, a tragic event unfolded when an employee, Haris, took his own life due to ongoing non-payment of wages.

Haris, a long-serving employee at the well-known Sutramandi market, had persistently sought payment of his overdue wages from his employers, Ali Manwar, Tayyib, and Manwar Sahib. Additionally, he requested the release of his brother-in-law’s earnings, which were also being withheld.

In a harrowing WhatsApp message sent to his employer, Ali, shortly before his death, Haris expressed his desperation, “Forgive me, Mr. Ali. I am about to take a step.” This poignant message highlighted his acute distress.
