Billionaire Elon Musk responded on X (formerly Twitter) to a video from a young Tesla owner in China named Molly, who reported a Tesla screen bug in her vehicle.
Molly politely addressed Musk in her video, describing how lines she drew on the screen would sometimes disappear. She asked, “Hello, Mr. Musk, I am Molly from China. When I draw a picture, sometimes the lines disappear like this. You see it? So can you fix it? Thank you.”
Molly’s Tesla screen bug video, where she demonstrated the disappearing lines as she drew, quickly gained traction online and garnered a million views and 14,000 likes. Many users praised her for clearly explaining the problem and her polite demeanour.
One user exclaimed, “That’s awesome. Thank you for sharing this bug with us all. It’s great to see Elon responding,” while another praised, “Well done on explaining the problem, Molly!!!” Comments ranged from calls for a “TOTAL RECALL” to accolades about her politeness and the cuteness of her report.

In the meantime, Musk has been busy with Tesla’s strategic developments, confirming his work on the company’s fourth master plan. He teased on X, “Working on the Tesla Master Plan 4. It will be epic.”
The plan follows previous ones that laid out Tesla’s long-term goals and strategies. The first was released in August 2006, the second in July 2016, and the most recent in March last year.
