Elon Musk has responded publicly after conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair claimed that she gave birth to his child five months ago. St. Clair, 26, announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, revealing that she and Musk share a child.
Her representative, Brian Glicklich, later confirmed the news, stating that the two had been working privately on a co-parenting agreement. Glicklich expressed frustration over media interference, mentioning how tabloid reporters disrupted the process and prevented it from being handled confidentially. He also revealed they were waiting for Musk’s public acknowledgement of his parental role.
Musk, 53, responded on Saturday with a simple “Whoa” to a post suggesting St. Clair had planned to have his child for years. St. Clair quickly replied, urging Musk to communicate with her directly. “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days, and you have not responded,” she wrote, criticizing him for engaging in online speculation instead of addressing the issue privately.

Musk, who has 12 other children from previous relationships, has remained silent since his brief response. His children include five with his first wife, Justine Wilson—twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. He also shares three children with musician Grimes: X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Additionally, Musk has three children with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, including twins Strider and Azure, and a third child born in early 2024.
St. Clair explained that she initially kept the matter private to protect her child but was compelled to speak out due to increasing media scrutiny. She later thanked supporters in a follow-up post, writing, “Kids should be off-limits for journalists.” Musk, meanwhile, has continued posting on X without further addressing St. Clair’s claims.
