“Fine Taylor, You Win…”: Elon Musk Concedes to Taylor Swift After Her Endorsement of Kamala Harris
Following Taylor Swift’s public endorsement of Kamala Harris for U.S. President, Elon Musk acknowledged Swift’s stance in a playful yet pointed post on X, the social media platform he owns. Musk’s response came after Swift voiced strong support for Harris, describing her as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” who champions the rights and causes Swift supports.
In his post, Musk humorously addressed Swift, referring to her self-described status as a “Childless Cat Lady,” a label previously used mockingly by JD Vance, Trump’s vice-presidential pick. Musk quipped, “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
The 34-year-old singer Swift articulated her reasons for voting for Harris on Instagram. She praised Harris for her leadership and choice of running mate, Tim Walz, noting his long-standing support for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s rights. Swift emphasized her desire for leadership driven by calm rather than chaos, signalling her belief in Harris’s ability to lead the nation effectively.
