On Friday, Ashley St. Clair filed a paternity lawsuit against Elon Musk, seeking to establish him as the father of her newborn son.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the 26-year-old conservative commentator also requested sole legal custody of the child, identified only by the initial “R.”
St. Clair’s petition states she began a relationship with Elon Musk in May 2023. She alleges they were intimate on January 2 and 3, 2024, dates she believes led to her son’s conception. While the child’s name and birth date remain redacted, St. Clair insists Musk is the father, claiming she had no other partners then.
To bolster her case, St. Clair submitted text messages that prove her relationship with Musk and his acknowledgement of paternity. One message, sent after she shared a hospital photo of herself with the baby, reportedly prompted Musk to reply, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.” Other exchanges, including a November 24, 2024, text where Musk allegedly wrote, “I want to knock you up again,” and a February 2, 2025, message stating, “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make,” were also included.
St. Clair has asked the court to order genetic testing for Musk to confirm her claims.
In her filing, St. Clair seeks sole legal custody, asserting she is the child’s primary caregiver. “I schedule his medical appointments, feed him, bathe him, and meet all his needs,” she wrote. She alleges Musk skipped the birth despite an invitation and has shown no interest in custody.
While not currently requesting child support, St. Clair seeks temporary financial aid for the child’s needs.
Recently resurfaced private messages between the pair reference intimate moments, further supporting St. Clair’s claims of a close relationship with the Tesla CEO.
