The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday provided Arsalan Iftikhar a record of the references filed against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.
The references were filed against the PTI chief by the late Dr Sher Afgan Niazi and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar.
The record was provided to Arsalan Iftikhar, son of former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, based on references and observations filed against the PTI chairman.
Arsalan intends to seek proceedings for Imran’s disqualification from the National Assembly allegedly for concealing facts about certain aspects of his personal life in the nomination form.
