Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has earlier today announced the schedule for local bodies’ elections in constituencies NA-153 Multan, PS-22 Nausharo Feroze and PP-48 Bhakkar.

According to the spokesperson of ECP, candidates’ nomination papers for local bodies’ election are to be submitted by October 27 and October 28.

Nomination papers in all three constituencies could be taken back by November 11 whereas final list of candidates would be displayed on the same day.

The local bodies’ elections in constituencies NA-153 Multan, PS-22 Naushero Feroze and PP-48 Bhakkar would take place on November 29.

Seats of NA-153 and PS-22 Naushero Feroze were vacated after Deewan Ashiq Hussain of Pakistan Mulslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Abdul Sattar got disqualified whereas PP-48 Bhakkar seat was empty after the demise of Najeebullah Khan.
