Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has authorized Private Power and Infrastructure Board to establishment a 300MW power plant at Gwadar.
The approval was given at a meeting of the Committee in Islamabad with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair.
The ECC had set up a committee in its last meeting to have a detailed review of the proposal put forth by the Ministry of Water and Power.
The committee put forth its report during the meeting and endorsed the recommendation of the Ministry. (PhotoNews /APP)
