After the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) LG elections, the election commission announced re-voting in constituencies where candidates died, or voting was disrupted.
The region’s election commission announced re-voting in chosen districts on December 25 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The returning officer (RO) will accept candidates’ nomination papers from December 14 to 15, and the scrutiny will be done on December 16 from 8 am to 2 pm.
On December 16, the eligible candidates will be released, and appeals against rejecting nomination papers will be filed.
The appeal deadline is December 17 at 2:00 pm. The appellate court will hear appeals from 9 am to 2 pm on December 19.
LG candidates could withdraw till December 19, 3 pm. On December 19 till 4 pm, the AJK EC will distribute election symbols.
