A mild earthquake shook Nawabshah and Mirpur Khas and the adjoining areas in Friday Overnight. According to initial reports, at least a child was killed and over 40 people sustained injuries.
The epicenter was located 12 kilometers north-east from Nawabshah.
According to the US Geological Survey, the intensity of the tremor was measured 4.3 at the Richter scale.
