Anti-polio vaccination campaign has started in 24 UCs of Karachi. The Sindh government has banned motorcycle-riding for eight hours (10am to 6 pm) on Sunday. The ban was imposed on the recommendation of law-enforcement agencies due to attack on polio teams during previous drives in the city.
In January 2014, three vaccinators were gunned down in Qayyumabad area. The anti-polio campaign will continue across Sindh for three days.
