Dubai Police has expanded its collection of luxury patrol vehicles by incorporating the Tesla Cybertruck, a modern electric vehicle noted for its avant-garde design.
The vehicle is wrapped in green and white, matching the traditional colour scheme of the fleet’s cruisers. Additionally, the Dubai Police logo is prominently displayed on the vehicle’s hood, symbolizing the fusion of innovation and tradition in law enforcement.
Upon learning of the new addition on X, Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed his approval with a brief “Cool” and an emoji on social media. The Cybertruck also acknowledged the update, thanking Dubai Police for their trust.
The Tesla Cybertruck joins an array of elite cars in the Dubai Police fleet, including models from Bugatti, Lamborghini, Audi, Bentley, McLaren, Aston Martin, Mercedes-AMG, and Maserati.
Social media users praised the addition. One highlighted Dubai’s track record of excellent decisions, while another commended the fusion of advanced technology and environmental sustainability in modern policing.
The Cybertruck’s body is made from the same stainless steel used in rocket construction and features a striking geometric design. According to Tesla, the truck provides superior utility and performance, boasting a range of up to 500 miles and acceleration from zero to 60 mph in as little as 2.9 seconds. The high-end model, exclusively available in the U.S., costs $99,990.
The growing demand for the Cybertruck is fueled by its innovative design and functionality and a shift towards sustainable transport solutions. The vehicle has also gained popularity among celebrities, including Saudi Prince Turki bin Salman Al Saud, whose purchase attracted significant online attention.
