A senior police officer was murdered in cold blood right along with his driver in what appears to be a sectarian attack in Karachi late yesterday night.
Zulfiqar Zaidi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, was sitting in a restaurant when he was attacked by assailants in Shah Faisal Colony.
SSP Junaid Sheikh confirmed the death of Zulfiqar Zaidi in the shooting. The victim was the security incharge of the Sindh High Court.
Earlier this week, another DSP, Fateh Mohammed was shot dead in an ambush in Malir area of the city.
