Video footage has emerged showing Secret Service agents and snipers responding after shots were fired at Donald Trump during a rally. Upon hearing the gunshots, Secret Service agents quickly surrounded the podium, protecting the Republican candidate as they escorted him off the stage.
During the incident, former US President Donald Trump was struck in the ear in what the Secret Service described as an assassination attempt. The attack involved multiple shots fired from an elevated position outside the venue.
Two armed officials were observed targeting the gunman as the chaos unfolded at the rally. The assailant was subsequently subdued and detained by security personnel, though details regarding the shooter’s identity and motive remain unclear.
The incident occurred just as Trump, aged 78, began speaking at his final campaign rally. He visibly winced, holding his right ear as blood appeared on his face. Turning to the crowd, he defiantly raised his fist several times, creating a moment likely to be remembered.
Later, on his Truth Social platform, Trump detailed the experience: “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear,” noting the immediate sensation of the bullet’s impact, characterized by a whizzing sound and a sharp pain.
