Indian Television stars Dipika Kakar, Shoaib Ibrahim, and their son Ruhaan recently enjoyed a vacation in Kashmir. Their trip coincided with the devastating terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 people and injured several others. Amidst growing concerns from fans over their safety, Shoaib took to Instagram to confirm their well-being and departure from the region.

“Hi everyone, your concern for our safety has been overwhelming. We are all safe and left Kashmir this morning. We’ve arrived safely in Delhi. Thank you for all your kind thoughts. Look out for our new vlog soon,” Shoaib posted on Tuesday.

Just days before the attack, the couple had shared snapshots and videos from the picturesque valley, showcasing their moments of joy. Deepika expressed her affection for the serene landscapes with a simple red heart emoji, captioning one of her videos, “Dhadkan.”

The terror attack in Pahalgam was one of the most severe in recent Jammu and Kashmir history, prompting quick responses from both military and government officials. Navy and Intelligence Bureau officers were among the casualties. Military helicopters were deployed to evacuate the injured from the challenging terrain in response to the crisis.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Srinagar to receive updates on the situation. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cutting his Saudi Arabia trip short, directed an immediate government response to the tragedy.

Dipika and Shoaib, who married in February 2018 in Bhopal, are a beloved couple in the television industry. Their family grew with the birth of their son Ruhaan in June 2023, who also accompanied them on this memorable yet poignant trip to Kashmir.
