Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar has created box office history by crossing Rs 100 crore in just two days during its second weekend in cinemas.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 53 crore on Saturday, December 13, followed by an estimated Rs 59 crore on Sunday, taking its second-weekend total to approximately Rs 112 crore. This exceptional performance underlines the film’s sustained momentum and growing audience interest.
Dhurandhar has continued its remarkable run since release, with total earnings now standing at around Rs 351 crore. The film opened to an impressive first weekend, earning Rs 103 crore, including Rs 28 crore on Friday, Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and Rs 43 crore on Sunday.

The strong opening carried seamlessly into the weekdays. Collections reached Rs 23.25 crore on Monday and Rs 27 crore on Tuesday, bringing the total to over Rs 150 crore. Wednesday and Thursday maintained the pace at Rs 27 crore each, bringing cumulative earnings to Rs 207.25 crore before the second-weekend surge.
The second Friday added Rs 32.5 crore, setting the stage for the blockbuster weekend that followed and propelling the film well past the Rs 350 crore mark.
Released on December 5, Dhurandhar features a high-profile ensemble cast led by Ranveer Singh, alongside Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film’s gripping narrative and strong performances have played a key role in driving repeat viewership.
Buoyed by its box office success, the makers have already confirmed a sequel. Dhurandhar 2 is scheduled to release in cinemas on March 19, 2026, signalling the start of a major franchise.
