Earlier this year, a similar tragic incident occurred in the Siri Pattan area of Lower Kohistan, where ten members of the same family – women, children, and men – lost their lives, while another 13 suffered injuries. The fire led to the collapse of the house’s roof, entrapping the residents beneath it.
The District Emergency Officer, Sajid Ali, confirmed that the fire broke out at night in Nawab Wali Muhammad Khan’s house in the Siri Pattan area of Lower Kohistan. As a result, the house’s roof collapsed, trapping the residents. Khan’s wife, five daughters, and son were killed instantly, while three others sustained injuries.
