Democrats are leveraging Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris, rolling out campaign billboards inspired by Swift. Following Swift’s endorsement after the first debate between Harris and Donald Trump, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) launched billboards in New York City and Las Vegas set to go live on Friday, September 13.

A digital billboard in Times Square displays “We’re in our Kamala era,” referencing Swift’s Eras Tour. Another ad uses the phrase from Swift’s song “…Ready for It,” stating, “A New Way Forward… Ready for It?” These messages alternate on billboards above Times Square’s red steps, invoking imagery from Swift’s songs “22” and “Red.”

Alongside the Las Vegas Strip, the DNC has placed two additional ads in Las Vegas. One continues the “Kamala era” theme, while another, targeting Donald Trump, asks, “Exhausted with this guy?” These coincide with Trump’s rally on September 13.

DNC communications director Rosemary Boeglin emphasized the campaign’s strategy, stating, “As we drive the contrast between Vice President Harris’ New Way Forward and Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda, we’re reminding voters that it is critical to speak now to dump Trump and enter our Kamala era by visiting IWillVote.com and doing their research on how, where, and when to vote in this election.”

This campaign integration of Swift’s music and cultural influence follows her public endorsement of Harris on Instagram, where she urged followers to research the issues and candidates’ stances that matter most to them.
