Following the uproar, locals demanded accountability, leading to the officer’s immediate suspension and further disciplinary measures. India’s main opposition party condemned the act, advocating for swift action against the involved officer. Consequently, traffic and normalcy in the area have been restored, as stated by Senior Delhi Police Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena.
