In broad daylight, armed robbers stole Rs 3 million from a bakery employee in Karachi’s Sharafabad area, all within 20 seconds. This robbery occurred shortly after the employee left a bank in the Muhammad Ali Society. Security cameras captured the entire event.
The CCTV footage showed the bakery employee parking outside the bakery. Simultaneously, another employee approached to assist with the cash while the security guard directed the parking.
During this, the robbers, who had followed the victim from the bank, attacked. They overpowered the guard, snatched his weapon, and grabbed the cash bag from the assisting employee. They then fled toward Jail Road.
As the security guard attempted to thwart the robbers, they fired shots at him. Fortunately, the bullets missed him, but his weapon fell during the altercation. The robbers then seized this opportunity to escape with the guard’s weapon towards Jail Road.
