The leaders of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, representing His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin and his brother Shahzada Ammar Jamaluddin, visited His Highness Prince Rahim al-Hussaini Aga Khan V in Lisbon, Portugal.
The purpose of the visit was to extend condolences on behalf of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin for the passing of Prince Rahim’s father, Prince Karim al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV.
Sultan Ali Allana, an Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) representative, welcomed the delegation, including Shahzada Ammar Jamaluddin, Shahzada Mehlam Yunus, and Barrister Mehmood Yusuf Mandviwalla.
Prince Rahim received a condolence letter from Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin during the visit. The letter praised Prince Karim Aga Khan IV for his visionary leadership and relentless dedication to advancing education, healthcare, and social welfare. It also highlighted the shared ancestry and values between the Dawoodi Bohra and Ismaili communities, underscoring the deep connections that unite these two groups.
