Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport customs agents intercepted a foreign currency smuggling attempt to Dubai.

According to Customs officials, customs agents intercepted three Pakistani nationals with a huge amount of foreign currency at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

Rizwan Ali Khan, Muhammad Dawar Khan, and Jahangir Ali hid the money in their handbags. Officials recovered 112,500 Saudi riyals worth Rs7.2 million from travelers.

Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport stopped a money smuggling attempt in April.

65,000 USD, or nearly Rs12 million, was found in a woman’s Doha-bound luggage.

The individual was allowed to board after the money was seized.
