Robberies continue without respite in Karachi

Robberies and muggings continue unabated in the metropolis while the authorities claim the law and order situation has improved.

However, citizens of the metropolis now expect to be deprived of their valuables at any hour of the day.

Cases where citizens have been looted by armed gunmen when returning home from weddings are common but In a most recent incident robbers did not even spare a household in mourning.

People were gathered outside a house in Azizabad, Block-2 when armed gunmen approached and deprived those standing outside the house of their valuables and fled.

Cases where women have been involved in robberies have also seen an increase.

According to sources women were also involved in stealing cash and ATM cards from the Human Rights Commission office.

While the authorities claim the law and order situation in the city has improved considerably, citizens continue to be deprived of their hard earned valuables.
