Costco has found itself unexpectedly involved in a high-profile sexual assault case linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs. Recent allegations claim Combs purchased baby oil in bulk from the retailer for his well-known parties. However, a Costco spokesperson has clarified that their stores across the United States do not stock baby oil products.
The controversy intensified last week when Diddy was arrested, and subsequent court documents revealed Homeland Security investigators discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil during a March raid at his properties in Miami and Los Angeles. These details became public when the documents were unsealed.
Marc Agnifilo, Diddy’s attorney, defended his client’s bulk purchases, suggesting they were practical for maintaining a large residence. Agnifilo is also featured in a TMX documentary about Combs’ legal challenges. In a preview clip of the documentary, he expresses confusion about the relevance of the baby oil to the case, questioning the figure of 1,000 bottles and its significance.
Despite the unfolding drama, Costco has actively distanced itself from the case, emphasizing its non-involvement in the product-specific claims made against Combs.
