The 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow kicked off earlier today with a grand opening ceremony at Celtic Park.
They will lat for 11 days.
The host nation’s flag will be carried by judo veteran Euan Burton, as confirmed by Team Scotland.

In the 20th edition of the Games there will be 4,500 athletes from 71 participating nations all of which are part of the British commonwealth.
