Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said that rulers will keep on oppressing the common people, as long as they do not stand up  and demand for their rights.

Addressing the flood-affectees in Jhang on Monday, Imran Khan said that until a common man will not raise voice for his rights, the ruler will be exploiting him.

The PTI chief further added that the Sharif brothers utilise nation’s wealth for their own interest, whenever they come into power.

He alleged that if the protective dykes were repaired, then so many people would not have been affected by floods.

He alleged that the Athara Hazari protective dyke was not blown in order to save Sharif brothers’ sugar mills, due to which the people of the Jhang had to suffer from great damages.

Imran Khan said that fight for the rights of the people is continued in Islamabad.
