Commodore Syed Asad Karim SI(M) has been promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral.
Rear Admiral Syed Asad Karim was commissioned in Supply Branch of Pakistan Navy in 1984. He is a graduate of National Defence University, Islamabad and Royal Military College of Science UK.
Karim holds Masters Degree in Defence Logistics Management from Cranfield University UK and Masters Degree in National Security & War Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
His distinguished appointments include Commanding Officer Submarine Stores Depot, Commanding Officer Naval Stores Depot, Director Procurement (Navy) and Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Works).
Presently, he is performing the duties of Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Supply) at NHQ.
In recognition of his meritorious services, he has been awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).
