The outgoing Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visisted Headquarters Directorate General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Director General ISI Lt. General Rizwan Akhtar received the Army Chief at the ISI headquarters.
The COAS paid glowing tribute to the sacrifices of officers and men of ISI in counterterrorism fight and strengthening national defence.
It should be mentioned here that General Raheel Sharif will hand the baton of command to the new Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa tomorrow .
Earlier today, General Sharif separately met President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as part of his farewell visits
