The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif signed the death warrants of four hardcore terrorists involved in homicide, suicide bombing, abduction for ransom, providing funds for terrorists organizations and colossal damage to life and property.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) , “terrorists include Noor Saeed alias Hafiz Sahib son of Muhammad Saeed, Murad Khan son of Sarfraz Khan, Inayatullah son of Khakay Khan and Israruddin alias Abu Lais son of Hussain Ahmed”.

Pakistan lifted a moratorium on capital punishment after a deadly militant raid on Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar December last year, which killed around 50 people, most of them children. Since then, Pakistan has sent hundreds of death row prisoners to gallows.

Four of the APS attackers were hanged last week in Kohat central jail.  The terrorists were executed two days after Chief of Army staff (COAS), Gen. Raheel Sharif signed their black warrants.

The convicts included included Maulvi Abdus Salam son of Shamsi, Hazrat Ali son of Awal Baz Khan, Mujeeb ur Rehman alias Ali alias Najeeb Ullah son of Gulab Jan and Sabeel alias Yahya son of Atta Ullah.
