Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif called on the Turkish Prime Minister & President respectively, earlier today
According to the press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) both leaders appreciated Pakistan’s role for regional peace & Pak Army’s contributions in defeating terrorism. Turkish leadership emphasized fraternal ties between two brotherly nations.
COAS assured Turkish leadership / brothers total support in handling their security challenges.
COAS also called on Defence Minister, Chief of General Staff separately and expressed satisfaction on defence cooperation. Both sides vowed to further enhance defence collaboration. (ISPR)
