The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has appreciated the high state of morale, operational preparedness and vigil being maintained by troops along the Working Boundary and International Border.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the media wing of the military, Gen. Raheel on Friday visited Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) headquarters where he was given a detailed briefing by DG Rangers Major General Umar Farooq about operation preparedness of the force.
The statement said General Raheel Sharif appreciated the high state of morale, operational preparedness and vigil being maintained by troops along the Working Boundary and International Border.
The Army Chief also laid floral wreath at Shuhada Memorial to pay homage to Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) martyrs who rendered supreme sacrifices for the defence of motherland.
Earlier on arrival, General Raheel was received by Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali, Commander Lahore Corps.
