The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, has declared that endeavors to sow discord between the Pakistani military and its citizenry are doomed to failure.

Moreover, he pointed out that the interplay between “internal collusive factions and external actors” aimed at causing instability has been laid bare.

These comments were made during General Asim’s visit to the Quetta Garrison, where he addressed the Command & Staff College Quetta officers, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.

General Asim underscored the importance of readiness for traditional, irregular, and fifth-generation warfare in his address. He firmly stated that those striving to weaken the unwavering bond between Pakistan’s people and its military would never succeed, as reported by the ISPR.

Expressing his gratitude to Pakistan’s courageous and dignified citizens, General Asim highlighted their recent widespread support for their armed forces, which served as a strong counter to the malicious plots of the nation’s adversaries and their associates.

He further emphasized that the link between internal conspirators and external forces striving to incite instability has been thoroughly revealed to the Pakistani populace. “With Allah’s blessings and the unflinching support of the proud Pakistani people, the Pakistan Army, one of the most formidable in the world, cannot be intimidated or manipulated by anyone,” he affirmed.

In addition to his address, General Asim inspected various welfare initiatives for soldiers at the Quetta Garrison. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the Commander of the Quetta Corps.
