The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has called a high level urgent meeting to discuss the prevailing political situation.
The meeting will review the current situation developed in the wake of police attack on protesters that left at least four persons and over 250 injured.
Sources informed that the meeting, presided over by General Sharif, had already started and attended by senior military officers including director general military operations and director general military intelligence.
They told that the Corps Commanders meeting had also been summoned tomorrow (Monday).
