A warning from Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has proven effective as PESCO (Peshawar Electric Supply Company) has been instructed to avoid unscheduled or additional load shedding.

According to details, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur’s threat has yielded results, and PESCO has decided to halt unscheduled or additional load shedding in Peshawar city.

This development emerged during a meeting between Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and the Chief Executive of PESCO, which the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Chief Secretary attended.

On this occasion, PESCO’s Chief Engineer issued instructions to avoid unscheduled or additional load shedding and ordered the acceleration of operations to reduce line losses.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur had threatened PESCO over unscheduled and additional load shedding in Peshawar, stating that if load shedding were not reduced, he would take control of PESCO and create the load shedding schedule himself.
