OpenAI is preparing to launch a year-end review feature for ChatGPT users, inspired by Spotify Wrapped. The feature, titled “Your Year with ChatGPT,” will offer a personalised summary of how individuals used the AI throughout the year.
According to TechCrunch, the feature will roll out to eligible users in select markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
The year-end recap will be available to users on Free, Plus, and Pro plans, provided they have enabled the “reference saved memories” and “reference chat history” settings. Users must also meet a minimum activity threshold during the year to unlock the feature. OpenAI will exclude Team, Enterprise, and Education accounts from access, citing a focus on a “lightweight, privacy-forward, and user-controlled” experience.
If you're in one of the countries above, check back throughout the day to see if "Your Year with ChatGPT" has rolled out to you.

Much like Spotify Wrapped, “Your Year with ChatGPT” will present personalised highlights through visual storytelling. Users can expect usage-based insights, creative awards such as “Creative Debugger,” and summaries that reflect how they engaged with the chatbot for problem-solving, writing, or idea development.
The feature will also generate a custom poem and an image that reflect each user’s interests and interaction patterns over the year. While ChatGPT will promote the recap on its home screen, it will not open automatically. Users can choose to access it directly.
OpenAI plans to make the feature available on both the ChatGPT web platform and its iOS and Android mobile apps, giving users multiple ways to explore their personalised AI journey throughout the year.
