PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja has asked PTI Chairman Imran Khan to avoid interrupting the Pakistan-England Test match at Rawalpindi Stadium.
Ramiz Raja visited Imran Khan after an assassination attempt on him during a political protest.
The PCB Chairman reportedly wanted to ensure the smooth running of the Rawalpindi Test, which will coincide with Imran Khan’s long march.
Ramiz Raja told PTI Chairman that the Test match and the long march in Rawalpindi coincide, and political instability could cancel the cricket match. The test match is scheduled to begin on December 1, although the English squad will arrive in Islamabad on November 26.
Imran Khan promised Ramiz Raja that the long march wouldn’t affect the Test schedule. He notified his party to avoid conflict and agitation.
