The Supreme Court of Pakistan reinstated Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ghulam Mehmood Dogar.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan heard the CCPO’s Dogar’s petition.
During the hearing, Dogar’s lawyer argued that the Federal Service Tribunal reinstated Dogar’s position, how a two-member tribunal bench halted the reinstatement order, and the tribunal can not suspend the order of the other tribunal.
The court adjourned the hearing indefinitely after reinstating Dogar as CCPO of Lahore.
