Cardi B has spoken out after facing several days of intense online criticism surrounding her relationship with Stefon Diggs.
The rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, addressed the backlash in a candid video shared on X on Monday, December 29. Speculation about the couple’s relationship gained momentum after fans noticed that Cardi and Diggs spent Christmas separately.
“Y’all need to calm down,” Cardi said directly in the video. “You’ve been dragging me for three or four days, and it’s getting way too mean.”
She pushed back against the criticism with blunt honesty, making it clear that online pressure would not change her reality. Cardi said she had no interest in revisiting the past and stressed that her focus remains on moving forward.

“I can’t change anything now. I already have a baby,” she added. “The only thing left is to go forward.” The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, in November. A representative for Cardi confirmed the news to People, saying the rapper was “healthy and happy.”
Cardi is also a mother to three children from her previous marriage to rapper Offset: daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, 1. Diggs, meanwhile, is the father of daughter Nova, born in 2016, and another daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, born in April 2025. Reports confirmed his paternity earlier this year.

According to media reports, Diggs spent Christmas with his children and later reshared Cardi’s Instagram post featuring her and their newborn. This move appeared to counter rumours of tension between the couple.
Cardi closed her message with a direct appeal to her supporters, asking them to shift from criticism to encouragement as she prepares for a busy year ahead. “I need my support system, my fans, to love me,” she said. “I want you to come to my tour, enjoy yourself with me, and stop dragging me. It’s enough now.”
