Former Captain (retd) Safdar Awan has addressed questions raised on social media about the absence of joint photographs with his wife, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, during their son’s wedding.
Junaid Safdar’s wedding took place at a private housing society in Lahore. Images and videos from the ceremony circulated widely online and remained a topic of discussion for several days.
In most of the shared photographs, Maryam Nawaz appeared prominently. Only a limited number of images showed Captain Safdar, which led some social media users to question the absence of joint pictures of the couple.
