The Cambridge Board has announced that Pakistan’s O Levels and A Levels examinations will proceed as planned on May 28, despite the government declaring Youm-e-Takbeer as a public holiday.

Similarly, Jinnah Hospital announced that the NTS House Job Test scheduled for May 28 will also occur as planned. A hospital spokesperson confirmed that the test will proceed at its designated time and location.
Students and test candidates are urged to continue their preparations and adhere to the set schedules for their exams and tests.
Earlier, the government declared a public holiday on May 28 to commemorate ‘Youm-e-Takbeer’ for successfully conducting nuclear tests.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remarked that Youm-e-Takbeer reinforces Pakistan’s commitment to its defence and sovereignty. “We unite under our flag to celebrate our resolve,” he noted. He highlighted the historical importance of May 28, 1998, when Pakistan conducted nuclear tests in response to regional tensions, securing its defence.
“We remain dedicated to ensuring our nation’s economic security and prosperity,” he declared.
