Early this morning, low public transport on roads was observed, whereas markets and business activities remained closed in various cities of Sindh, particularly in Karachi and Hyderabad.

MQM has appealed traders and transporters to suspend all activities in Karachi.

All examination papers have been postponed in educational institutions including University of Karachi and Muhammad Ali Jinnah University.

Intermediate Board also announced to postpone the papers scheduled for today. New dates for the papers will be made public later.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah formed a high level committee to probe the murder of MQM activist and announced compensation for the bereaved family.
