An alleged audio recording has surfaced featuring Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, addressing party members in Peshawar. This leak emerged just days before PTI’s scheduled march to Islamabad on November 24, aimed at securing Imran Khan’s release from Adiala Jail. Imran has been incarcerated for over a year on multiple charges.
Last week, Imran Khan issued a “final call” for a national protest against the alleged election rigging on February 8, the arrest of party workers, and the recent approval of the 26th Amendment.

The audio captures Bushra Bibi conveying Imran Khan’s directives related to the November 24 protest. In the meeting, she stressed the importance of involving the general public, not just party workers. She directed PTI legislators to document the event by capturing videos of vehicles and participants.
Bushra Bibi also underscored the need for alternative communication plans to mitigate potential internet outages, labelling the protest as a critical, “do-or-die” step for Imran Khan’s release. Social media activists and YouTubers should stream videos of the caravans live.
Furthermore, she called on the party’s representatives to ensure the safety of participants, saying, “If a worker is injured, local MNAs and MPAs will look after them. Make sure no one gets arrested or detained.”
She emphasized recording individual rallies before merging into the main procession. The audio indicates that failure to submit these videos could affect future party nominations. Bushra Bibi also marked the protest as a test of loyalty to Imran Khan, confident that 500,000 people could demonstrate their support.
PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed the authenticity of the nine-minute audio, acknowledging Bushra Bibi’s voice from a recent party meeting in Peshawar.
