Bushra Bibi, the former first lady and wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, was sentenced to 14 years in the Toshakhana case, relocated to Bani Gala, and declared as a designated sub-jail.
Following the verdict, Bushra Bibi voluntarily appeared before the accountability court and surrendered in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail; she was taken into custody by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team present.
Later on, Islamabad’s Chief Commissioner issued a notification about Bushra Bibi’s transfer to Bani Gala as a sub-jail.

The notification reads, “The Chief Commissioner, Islamabad Capital Territory, declares Bushra Bibi’s residence (Khan House Banigala) as a Sub-Jail.”
Stringent security measures are implemented, with jail staff inside Bani Gala and Islamabad Police outside Imran Khan’s residence.
An accountability court sentenced the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and his wife, Bushra Bibi, to 14 years in jail in the Toshakhana case on Wednesday.

The court’s decision exacerbates the PTI founder’s legal woes, imposing imprisonment and disqualifying him from public office for 10 years. They also face an Rs1.573 billion fine.
The Toshakhana case, involving false statements and incorrect declarations, significantly impacted national politics after the Election Commission of Pakistan disqualified the PTI chief last year.
