Indiana A former teacher from Eminence High School is facing a series of child sex abuse charges, including allegations of involving minors in disturbing scenarios using replicas of the iconic “Scream” movie masks.
Brittany Fortinberry, 31, has been charged with multiple felonies, including child molestation, sexual misconduct with a minor, and dissemination of matter harmful to minors. The charges stem from alleged incidents involving multiple children she met while working at two different schools last year.
According to a court affidavit, one of the most shocking allegations involves a 13-year-old boy who told investigators that Fortinberry picked him and two friends up, bought them hundreds of dollars’ worth of clothes, and took them to her home. The boy claimed Fortinberry called their parents to ask if they could stay overnight.

Once at her home, Fortinberry allegedly gave the boys magic mushrooms and asked if they wanted to engage in a “gangbang” with her. The boys reportedly agreed, with the condition that they wear “Scream” masks during the act. The incident is said to have lasted approximately two hours.
The affidavit also includes statements from a 14-year-old who believes Fortinberry may have drugged him on one occasion. Investigators noted that Fortinberry often befriended the parents of the children involved and had a son around the same age, creating closer ties than a typical teacher-student relationship.
Fortinberry is currently being held in the Morgan County Jail as the investigation continues. Her attorney has not yet responded to requests for comment.
