Britney Spears, the “Princess of Pop,” deleted her Instagram account. Millions of fans were alarmed, began to concoct theories, and worried about her safety to the point that they called the police to check on her.

Spears’ erratic behavior in recent months escalated a few days ago when she staged a scandal at a Los Angeles restaurant, leading millions of followers to believe that she was mentally challenged and going through the worst trauma.

Britney deleted her Instagram account again, but fans worried she might hurt herself. So they called the police to check on her.

The authorities said Spears was safe but did not say if they spoke to her or if someone else told them.

Britney had a manic attack at a LA restaurant with her husband, Sam Asghari, two weeks earlier.

She was surprised by changing her Instagram name to River Red a few days ago: “I became River Red. Purity is potent.”

TMZ reported that the police went to check on Spears at her Thousand Oaks home around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday after receiving hundreds of calls asking them to do so.

This was the last post that was made before #BritneySpears IG account was deleted.
