The British High Commissioner (HC), Philip Barton said “the British Government does not interfere in police affairs and the London Metropolitan Police is independent and free of political influence, in its investigations of a case”
Commenting on the arrest of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief by the British Police, Philip Barton said that British Police is an independent organization, free of any kind of political influence.
He also informed the media that the British Government cannot obstruct police investigations of money laundering case against Mr. Altaf Hussain.
