An explosion has been heard in Faqeer Colony area of Karachi a little while back.
According to local residents following the blast in a house located at the colloquially titled “Pareshan Chowk” (worried Chowk) in Faqeer Colony area of Orangi Town. The Rangers and police cordon off the entire area.
According to sources, a suicide bomber blew himself up during a search operation in the area.
DIG Feroz Shah said the blast took place near a rangers van in Mominabad. Apart from the “Idiot Bomb” no loss of life has been reported as yet.
