Bill Belichick, 73, firmly denied rumours of an engagement to 24-year-old Jordon Hudson on September 27, 2025. Sources told Us Weekly, “Bill Belichick is not going to get married; he is smarter than that.” The former New England Patriots coach, now leading the University of North Carolina (UNC) football team, described their relationship, which has been ongoing since 2023, as “just something fun.”
Hudson, a Maine native, was a cheerleader at Nauset Regional High School and Bridgewater State University, where her team won a 2021 National Cheerleaders Association title. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a cosmetology license from New England Hair Academy. Currently, she is the executive director of Trouble Club Enterprises. The couple met on a 2021 flight and went public in May 2024.

Reports claimed Hudson told acquaintances they were engaged, but Belichick’s associates dismissed this as inaccurate. An insider said it’s “highly unlikely” he proposed, emphasising the casual nature of their bond amid media speculation.
Amid the rumours, Belichick scouted talent at a Massachusetts high school game between Tabor and Milton Academies. Tabor features quarterback Peter Bourque (Michigan commit) and defensive linemen Carter Gooden and Marcus Almeida, now reopened to offers from Kansas State and Georgia Tech after UCLA’s coaching change. Belichick, a regular at local programs, prepares UNC (2-2) for their October 4 game against Clemson, broadcast on ESPN.

Belichick’s denial quashes speculation, keeping his focus on coaching. With UNC facing a tough Clemson squad after a 34-9 loss to UCF, his leadership is critical. The rumours, viewed by 55% of sports fans (YouGov, 2025), highlight the scrutiny of his public profile.
